Seriously, how long has it been?!! Too long, I know. We're right in the middle of building a new website and our blog will be incorporated in it....so I promise we'll be around a lot more! In the meantime, I hope you are keeping up with our facebook and twitter pages.

We have exciting news! Yesterday we were featured on Tasting Table Los Angeles. We are huge fans and followers of Tasting Table so we greeted the news with cheers, not just the shouting kind!

Weekly Truck Stop & Monthly Mini Social!

This week The Border Grill Truck stops at Frosted Hollywood. Join us for gourmet tacos, quesadillas and cupcakes from 12-2:30pm, Thursday April 1st.

And then come back for our Monthly Mini Social! FREE minis of our new Flavor of the Month, Almond Cake with Vanilla Buttercream covered in toasted coconut and topped with chocolate eggs...picture a bird's nest! Adorable and delicious, a personal favorite.

Who knew green looked so good on a cupcake?! We've dressed up our Vanilla and Chocolate Buttercream with green shamrock sugar sprinkles. Our Red Velvet is topped with a green shamrock chocolate and last but not least, our Coconut is sprinkled with a green edible glitter.

Knot your Average Wedding!

We are often blessed with meeting really fantastic couples planning fabulously unique wedding receptions. One couple in particular was such a treat to work with, we're still talking about how cute the display of cupcakes turned out. And today we found out we aren't the only ones who think so! Take a look at what the Knot had to say.

We love it when couples take the time to include their personality in their presentation. Andrea and Robert carried out their color theme from the tier to the top of the cupcakes and the end result is adorable. We LOVED working with them and wish them the very best.

The Pink Elephant in the Room

If you've visited Frosted in the last 24 hours, you've seen the newest addition to the Frosted Family. We've purchased new and improved ovens that will help us keep up with our growing special order business and our ever increasing walk-in traffic. At this moment, the ovens are taking up real estate in our seating area. We'll be moving them into their permanent home this evening. In order to do this, we will be closing tonight at 8pm.

Tiers for Cheers

A special part of getting your cupcakes from Frosted Cupcakery is that we offer serving tiers for you to display our cupcakes on. Our customers are often asking what they look like, so here they are.

The two different styles below are our most commonly ordered tiers. The $12 tier holds up to 2 dozen cupcakes and can be trimmed in up to 3 different colored ribbon. The $20 tier holds 3-4 dozen cupcakes and can be trimmed in up to 5 different colored ribbon. We make these tiers custom to match the theme of your event. We have ribbon swatches available to choose from and the tiers are made of a corrugated cardboard so they are yours to toss after use or reuse as often as you'd like....which we're hoping you'll do since they are durable enough for a couple party rounds. Please allow us 48 hours when placing your order and we do have a minimum purchase of cupcakes per tier. There is a 1 dozen minimum cupcake order for the $12 tier and a 2 dozen minimum cupcake order for the $20.

We have larger tiers to accommodate even bigger special orders, you can see our largest tier and one of our rental tiers here. If that weren't enough, we're getting new styles in later this week for orders of 5 dozen or more so we'll keep you posted!

It's Your Day, Earth

This Wednesday, April 22nd, is Earth Day! We'd like to honor the day by offering our customers an Earth-friendly Gift With Purchase. Purchase 6 cupcakes or more and get a free reusable shopping tote, one tote per purchase. We're offering this promotion from Wednesday through Thursday, April 30th, while supplies last. This tote fits our 6 box perfectly, but we're hoping you'll find even more uses for it. Take it to the beach, school, grocery store and even shopping at the mall. We can't wait to see our custom printed tote out and about!

She's Peachy!

Remember scratch and sniff stickers? If you are like me, you scratched those stickers until all the sniff was gone. Well, our friend Gamie from Peach Mailbox makes the most adorable scented cupcake cards that will surely bring back those fragrant memories! We've been selling her cards for almost a year now and every season she comes up with the most delightful designs. Her attention to detail and design aesthetic fits right in at Frosted and we couldn't be happier to spread the word of her amazing talents.
She's offering the cutest Valentine's Day designs, from her original scented cupcake to Ferris Wheels and owls! With inscriptions like "i dig you" and "you're a hottie," we're certain your sweetheart will get the message loud and clear.
